Collaboration plays a crucial role in the construction sector. In this article, we will discuss three ways to enhance collaboration with your colleagues and project partners: collaborating with colleagues from your own company, collaborating with users from another ArchiSnapper account, and collaborating with responsible parties as feedback-only users.
Adding a user from another ArchiSnapper account, as well as collaborating with feedback-only users, does not incur any additional costs for you.
Be sure to give it a try!
1. Collaborate with colleagues from your own company.
Collaborate with your colleagues on projects, share the same layout settings, checklists, and keep everything centrally organized.
The Account Admins of your company can enter your colleagues' name and email address via More > Manage Users and send them an invitation.
2. Collaborate on specific projects with users from another ArchiSnapper account.
Collaborate with users from other ArchiSnapper accounts on reports or To-Do lists for specific projects. Read here how you can assign specific projects to users.
The Admin users of your account can enter the name and email address of these external users and send them an invitation via More > Manage Users. They will then get a notification confirming that the person already has an ArchiSnapper account but can join your account and access the projects they get assigned to :
3. Collaborating with contacts as feedback-only users.
Assign a responsible contact person to observations in your site reports or To-Do lists. They can then provide feedback through text and photos and subsequently submit the update for your approval.
In the example below, collaboration takes place with a Feedback-Only user for an observation in Project 2 :
Assigned contact persons do not need a paid ArchiSnapper license to provide feedback, they can do this with a free ArchiSnapper account. Read here how you can collaborate with contacts.
A complete collaboration process could, for example, look like this:
